Environmental Education Award

The NOACK-LABORATORIES Environmental Education Award is presented to a reputable scientist or organisation in this field at the opening ceremony of the Annual Congress. The purpose of the award is to honour activities in the dissemination of knowledge on environmental sciences. Criteria for the nominee of the Environmental Education Award are: 1) outstanding record of interdisciplinary activities related to the distribution of knowledge on environmental sciences and 2) substantial contributions to the education in this field. If you know a possible candidate with an outstanding record of interdisciplinary activities related to the distribution of knowledge on environmental sciences who made substantial contributions to the education in this field, please send your nomination to the SETAC Europe office. Your nomination should include a full curriculum vitae of the candidate, including an e-photograph and a publication list and a letter of recommendation highlighting the importance of the candidate’s work. The award recipient should be based in a geographical area administered by SETAC Europe (i.e., Europe and Africa). The awards will be presented 15 May 2011 at the Opening Ceremony of the SETAC Europe 21st Annual Meeting in Milan, Italy.
